Just before 2:00 Sunday afternoon,  Firefighters from several Kent County fire companies were dispatched to the 100 block of Sunrise Drive in Clayton for a reported structure fire

Responding crews arrived on scene to find heavy fire showing from the rear of a two-story single-family home.

Initial reports indicate that all occupants made it out of the home prior to the firefighter’s arrival. About 10 minutes later at 2:55, Command placed the fire under control with units working.
