Police: Shooting Victim Flees To Dover Fast Food Restaurant

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting of a 22-year-old male on Sunday afternoon, according to Dover Police Department Public Information Office Sergeant Mark Hoffman.

Hoffman said at approximately 5:03 p.m., officers responded to Burger King, located at East Loockerman Street and S. DuPont Highway for a report of a man who had been shot. Arriving officers contacted the man who had been shot in the shoulder and learned that the incident occurred in the 800 Block of S. Little Creek Road. The victim was transported to Kent General Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
