21-Year-Old Shot In Dover Early Sunday

The Dover Police Department is investigating the shooting of a 21-year-old man that occurred early Sunday morning, according to Public Information Office
Sergeant Mark Hoffman.

Hoffman said at approximately 5:39 a.m. officers were notified that a shooting victim had arrived to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital by private vehicle. The victim was struck twice in the upper leg and his injuries are not life-threatening. It is believed the shooting occurred at approximately 4:47 a.m. in the 100 Block of S. New Street. However, the victim has been extremely uncooperative with investigators.
