Crews Rescue Teen Stuck In The Mud In Townsend

Townsend – Just before 4:00 on Saturday afternoon, New Castle County Paramedics, Odessa, and Townsend Fire Companies were dispatched to the 200 block of Abbigail Crossing in Goldsborough Farms for a teen confined in the mud.

Upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics, found one patient, a 14-year-old boy, confined to a muddy area. Responding fire personnel took about twenty minutes to remove the patient from the mud. After being transferred to the ambulance via stokes basket, the patient was evaluated and found to have no injuries. He was left in the care of his mother, who was on the scene.
