Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at approximately 3:24 p.m. in the 200 block of North Dupont Street.
Police said they located 46-year-old Michael Parker suffering from gunshot wounds. Parker was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible, officials said Monday night.
