Videos Capture Attempted Murder Of Two In Dover’s Hidden Brook Development

Dover- Delaware State Police are investigating a shots fired incident which took place Tuesday evening, according to Public Information Officer, Corporal/1 Jason Hatchell.

Hatchell said on December 22, 2020, at approximately 4:49 p.m., troopers responded to Walters Way in the Hidden Brook Development for a report of shots fired. The investigation determined three occupants were inside of their residence and heard two gunshots outside of the home. The occupants then observed a projectile lying in the hallway inside of the home. Additionally, Troopers discovered a bullet hole in the corner of the residence. Inside the home during the incident was a 63-year-old male, a 53-year-old female, and a 14-year-old female. No one was injured during the incident.

Further investigation discovered two unknown pedestrians were walking on Willis Branch Drive near the victim’s residence when a dark-colored sedan pulled up next to them and began shooting. The pedestrians and suspect vehicle fled the area. There are no reports of injuries and the identities of pedestrians and occupants of the suspect vehicle are unknown at this time.
