Yesterday afternoon, January 23, 2021, at approximately 3:30 p.m., patrol officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the area of Winterhaven Drive, in the community of Spring Crossing Apartments for a report of multiple gunshots in the area.
When the officers arrived, they found one 20-year-old, male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower extremity. A second 20-year-old male victim was later discovered to have been driven to a local area hospital. The second victim was also found to be suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his extremities.
Both victims are listed in stable condition.
