Happening Now: Vehicle Involved In Rollover Crash After Driver Shot In The Head

Just before 3:15, Wednesday afternoon rescue crews responded to Milford-Harrington Highway for reports of a rollover crash with multiple people reported injured. Dispatchers alerted responding crews that there were reports of shots fired prior to the crash.

First arriving responders confirmed at least one subject was shot in the head. That patient was transported as a Priority 1 patient, the most serious. This is a developing story.

State Police issued the following statement: Delaware State Police is issuing a traffic advisory for Milford-Harrington Highway, Harrington. The roadway will be closed for an extended period of time between Killens Pond Road and Blairs Pond Road due to a criminal investigation. This incident is in the early stages and additional information will be released when available.
