Man Charged With Weapon And Drug Charges In Dover, Released On Unsecured Bond

On Tuesday Dover Police Officers observed a man wanted on two outstanding capiases sitting in a vehicle on Fairway Lakes Drive, according to Public Information Officer Sergeant Mark Hoffman.

Hoffman said officers contacted the man and took him into custody without incident. A second man, Cameron Clark, 32, was in the back seat of the vehicle and was found to have a loaded handgun with an extended magazine under his seat, according to Hoffman. During a search of the vehicle, officers located a small amount of marijuana and information linking Clark to an apartment on Fairway Lakes Drive.

Hoffman said officers obtained a search warrant for Clark’s apartment and located an additional 104.3 grams of marijuana, a 9mm pistol, and several rounds of ammunition.

The wanted was released after posting bond on his outstanding capiases.

Clark was released on a $17,600 unsecured bond on the following offenses:
-Possession of Firearm/Ammo by Person Prohibited (4x)
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana
-Possession of Marijuana
-Drug Paraphernalia
