57-Year-Old Man Found Shot In Wilmington Friday Night

Just hours after a 22-year-old man was shot and killed in Wilmington on Friday, Police responded to another shooting incident.

While not a lot of information was released, Wilmington Police did say they were investigating a fatal shooting that occurred just before 6:30 in the 900 block of Lombard Street.

Three hours after the Lombard Street victim succumbed to his injuries police said they were also investigating a shooting that occurred at 9:31 in the 2500 block of North Tatnall Street.

The victim in the Tatnall Street shooting is described as a 57-year-old male gunshot victim. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Friday’s shootings are the latest in a rash of shootings that have plagued the city in recent months.
