Police Identify Three Killed In Murder-Suicide Monday

Wilmington Police have released the names of the three people that died in what police are calling a murder-suicide.

Just before 8:25, Monday evening police and rescue crews responded to the 1100 block of West 2nd Street for reports that four people had been shot.

Shortly after dispatch crews learned that the shooter may still be at the scene. At some point during the incident police began treating the incident as a barricaded subject incident.

When officers entered the building they found 30-year-old McKenzie Horn and a 19-year-old Jayda Reed, who had both succumbed to their injuries.

The suspect, 32-year-old Robert Horn., was also found dead at the scene from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police said the incident was believed to have been domestic in nature

A 12-year-old girl was also shot during the incident. She was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
