Update: Five Injured In Naamans Road Crash Late Saturday

At approximately 10:55 p.m., New Castle County Paramedics, Talleyville, Claymont, and Brandywine Hundred Fire Companies were dispatched to the 3100 block of Naamans Road for a motor vehicle collision with a vehicle into a utility pole, according to New Castle County Paramedics.

Upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found a total of five patients. A 39-year old male was treated for a possible back injury. He was transported to Wilmington Hospital via Claymont Fire Company ambulance, accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics, in stable condition.

The second patient, a 30-year-old male, was treated for a possible head injury and injuries to his extremities and transported to Wilmington Hospital via Claymont Fire Company ambulance, accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics, in stable condition.

Three additional patients, including two children, were transported to area hospitals via basic life support (BLS) ambulance with minor injuries.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
