Man Shot Multiple Times While Driving On Friday

Delaware State Police Detectives are investigating a shooting incident that left one man injured, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Heather Pepper.

Pepper said on August 27, 2021, at approximately 8:00 a.m., a 33-year-old man was traveling southbound on US 13 north of Concord Road in Seaford, when he heard the sound of gunshots. The victim, struck multiple times on his right side, fled the area and drove himself to a nearby hospital. He was treated at a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Pepper said there is no suspect information available. Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has suspect information should contact Detective D. Hickman with Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigative Unit by calling 302-752-3856.
