NASA Astronaut Victor Glover Jr. To Speak At DSU Graduation Ceremony Tonight

Victor J. Glover, Jr will be the keynote speaker at the graduation ceremony of the Summer Cadet Flight Training Program conducted by Delaware State University’s Aviation Program.

Commander Glover, who will be welcomed at the event by DSU President Tony Allen and Lt. Col. Michael Hales, director of the DSU Aviation Program, recently returned from 168-mission
as a pilot and second-in-command on the SpaceX Crew Dragon and also a flight engineer on the International Space Station. He will provide inspiring words to 22 ROTC and Junior ROTC
cadets who will have completed the eight-week flight training program.

During his recent mission, Glover also did scientific investigations, technology demonstrations, and earth photography on the International Space Station for Expedition 64 and participated in four spacewalks.

The annual Summer Cadet Flight Training Program enable ROTC and Junior ROTC cadets to earn an FAA Private Pilot License at the end of the eight-week training.
