Two Men In Critical Condition After Separate Motorcycle Accidents Friday

Two men are hospitalized in critical condition after two separate crashes on friday.

At approximately 06:28 pm, New Castle County Paramedics (NCCEMS), Cranston Heights and Hockessin Fire Companies, along with Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched to the 1000
block of Old Kennett Road for a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle, according to NCCEMS PIO Oliver Kocher. Responding units confirmed one patient off a motorcycle, down for an unknown length of time.

Kocher said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found one patient, an approximately 33-year-old male with head injuries, in the care of Hockessin Fire Company EMTs. The patient had injuries to his chest, pelvis, and all extremities. He was treated on scene and transported to Christiana Hospital by ground via Hockessin Fire Company ambulance, accompanied by New Castle
County Paramedics. He was in critical condition at the time of transport.

Later on Friday, at approximately 11:00 pm, NCCEMS, Mill Creek, Belvedere, and Christiana Fire Companies were dispatched to the intersection of Delaware Park Blvd at Ogletown Stanton Road for another accident involving a motorcycle. When medics arrived a man, approximately 60-year-old, was in the care of Christiana Fire Company EMTs. He was treated on scene for head injuries and transported to Christiana Hospital in critical condition.

An additional patient with minor injuries was treated and transported to Christiana Hospital by Belvedere Fire Company ambulance.
