Danny L Salyer, age 70, of Newark, DE passed away on September 13, 2021. Danny was born on August 17, 1951 in Bainbridge, MD to the late Genene McPherson & late Grover Salyer.
Danny was a 1969 graduate of Perryville High School. He retired from Conrail as a conductor. He loved his Ford Mustangs & had collected several over the years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle & was a member of FSMC. Danny was known for his sense of humor & always loved a good joke. He always had a book in his hand and loved to garden.
Danny is survived by his loving family, Sisters: Brenda Chapman of Rising Sun, MD & Carol Salyer of Canton, GA; Step-Father: Gary McPherson of Farmingdale, ME; Daughters: Laci Salyer (Kris Conner) of Newark, DE; Angela Badgett of Chesapeake City, MD; and Amanda Miller (James Miller) of Wilmington, DE. His grandchildren who he adored Shane Conner & Allison Anderson and several nieces & nephews.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at The Delaware Canoe Club, Newark DE at 1 pm. Family and friends are invited to come share memories of Danny.
