Four Month Project Will Bring Lane Closures To 202-Naamans Intersection

DelDOT has announced that signal upgrades will require nighttime lane closures at the  Concord Pike (202)  and Naamans Road Intersection.

DelDOT Traffic Signal Construction in conjunction with Kriss Contracting will begin the signal construction on Wednesday, October 6 and is anticipated to be completed by early January, pending weather.

This project involves the replacement of the existing span wire traffic signal with new span wire and signal heads, pedestrian signals, and roadway lighting upgrades.

There will be no lane closures between 7 am and 5 pm on weekdays. Intermittent lane closures will take place from 7 pm until 5 am during the construction

Nighttime intermittent lane closures will occur with flaggers on-site to direct motorists through the intersection.
