Crews Respond To Two School Bus Crashes Thursday Morning

Just before 8:30 Thursday morning rescue crews and police responded to SE 2nd Street at Marshall Street in Milford for reports of a school bus into a utility pole.

Students on the bus were transported to the Milford Central Academy where they were evaluated by rescue crews. It’s not clear if there were any injuries in this crash.

Prior to the Milford crash, a Smyrna High School bus was rear-ended by a car just before 7:00 on Route 13. No injuries were reported on the bus. One person in the car was transported to the hospital.

The Smyrna incident caused the closure of Route 13 NB while the incident was investigated and cleared.
