Sometime between late Monday night and early Tuesday morning, rescue crews and police responded to a home in the 600 block of Schoonover Lane in Middletown for reports of a shooting.
Police reportedly responded to the Dickerson Farm development home where they found a woman that was wounded by gunfire. Initial reports from the scene indicate the woman was shot during a home invasion. Police have not released any information regarding the incident. It’s unclear if there is a danger to the community.
Information provided to FSU regarding the shooting of the family dog has not been confirmed.
