Just before 8:00 Thursday evening rescue crews along with police responded to Carpenter Plaza for reports of a shooting.
Initial reports indicate that first responders were dispatched to Carpenter Station Road in Wilmington. A restaurant owner in the shopping center tells FSU that the dispatched address was not the location of the incident. The restaurant was not involved.
Police have not released details surrounding the incident, however, we do know that one patient was transported to an area hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.
