Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 4:37 p.m. in the 1900 block of Prospect Road.
Police said they located a 17-year-old male gunshot victim who arrived at the hospital in stable condition.
Emergency crews that responded to the scene were recalled after learning that the victim had been driven to the hospital in a private vehicle.
