At approximately 7:12 a.m. the New Castle County Paramedics and Aetna Hose, Hook & Ladder Company were dispatched to the 1100 block of Capitol Trail in Newark for a motor vehicle collision with a vehicle reported overturned.
New Castle County Paramedics Spokeswoman Senior Sergeant Abigail Haas said medics arrived on scene to find a single vehicle off the roadway and overturned in the parking lot of Creekside Spirits, located at 1124 Capitol Trail.
Haas said a 43-year-old woman was assisted from her vehicle by witnesses to the incident. She was transported to Christiana Hospital in stable condition by EMTs from Aetna Hose, Hook & Ladder Company of Newark.
Delaware State Police is investigating the incident.
