On Thursday at approximately 3:35 a.m., New Castle County Paramedics and Aetna Hose Hook and Ladder Company of Newark were dispatched to the intersection of Capitol Trail and Possum Park Road for reports of a motor vehicle collision with a subject not alert.
Upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found a vehicle that had collided head-on with a pole. The 51-year-old male patient was treated for possible head and neck injuries before he has transported to Christiana Hospital via Aetna Hose Hook & Ladder Company ambulance,
He was accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics, in stable condition.
Delaware State Police are investigating the crash.
