WPD Needs Help Identifying Bank Robbery Suspect, Looks Like Dover Suspect

Wilmington Police are requesting the assistance of the public to identify a bank robbery suspect.

On May 27, police responded to a bank in the 200 block of North Union Street in reference to a robbery that had occurred.

The case was assigned to Detective Derek Haines of the Criminal Investigations Division.

On May 28th the Dover Police released the following:

The Dover Police Department is seeking a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred on Saturday, May 28th. At approximately 11:02 a.m., a black male suspect entered the Wells Fargo Bank located at 100 North DuPont Highway and handed a teller a note stating this was a robbery police said today. The teller handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and he fled from the business in an unknown direction.
