Another Shooting Leaves 14-Year-Old Boy Dead, 20-Year-Old In Critical Condition

Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. Saturday, in the area of 6th and North Madison Street.

Police located a 14-year-old male gunshot victim who was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police also located a 20-year-old male gunshot victim who was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.

Second Shooting On Saturday

The Wilmington Police Department is investigating a shooting that left at least four people injured.

At around 11:00 Saturday evening police officers responded to the unit block of 27th and Tatnell for reports of multiple rounds fired.

Arriving officers located four patients at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds. All four were transported to an area hospital with undetermined injuries.

Initial reports from the scene indicate that a fifth person may have been struck by gunfire as well.
