At around 2:15 on Sunday afternoon, gunfire erupted along the unit block on E 23rd Street in Wilmington.
As calls began to come in, Wilmington Police and rescue crews responded to the scene. Reports indicate that law enforcement officers found a man lying on the street, suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Crews immediately transported the man to a local hospital for medical treatment. As of now, authorities have not released any updates on the victim’s condition.
