Just before 7:00 Tuesday morning rescue crews responded to the area of Route 896 at Old Baltimore Pike in Newark for a motor vehicle collision.
While en route crews learned that the accident involved learned that one patient who was possibly trapped in a vehicle. Upon arrival, crews reported that four people were being evaluated for injuries.
Radio reports from the scene indicate that a box truck was off the road into the woods at this accident scene.
Route 896 was closed in both directions as a result of this accident.
At least two patients were transported with serious injuries.
