Woman Carjacked In College Parking Lot

The Dover Police Department is investigating a carjacking that occurred early Thursday morning.

Officials said the investigation began when Dover Police Department received a call for a vehicle theft at the 100 Campus Drive at 7:11 a.m.

Officers responded and could not locate the victim at this time however she later responded to Dover Police Department.  The investigation showed that a white male suspect pushed the victim to the ground as she was getting into a 2012 Gray Kia Sedona bearing Delaware registration XQ468051 in the bus parking lot of Delaware Technical and Community College, police said. The victim sustained minor injuries and the suspect fled in the vehicle.

The suspect is described as a slim white male wearing a black jacket and a white hooded sweatshirt. There are currently no leads at this time.
