GardaWorld Employee Charged With Stealing $5,000, Released On OR

Delaware State Police arrested 27-year-old Taiquan Keith of Wilmington, Delaware for an employee theft that occurred yesterday in Wilmington.

Officials said on January 31, 2024, at approximately 1:46 p.m., troopers responded to GardaWorld, located at 212 East Lea Boulevard in Wilmington, for a report of an employee theft.

Upon arriving, troopers learned a GardaWorld employee, identified as Ketih, had removed over $5,000 from cash bags while working police said. The money was recovered during the investigation.

Keith was taken into custody without incident and transported to Troop 1, where he was charged with the following crime:

  • Theft $1,500 or Greater (Felony)

Keith was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and released on his own recognizance.
