One Trapped, One Ejected In Overnight Crash

Just before 10:30 Wednesday evening rescue crews responded to a motor vehicle accident in Milltown.

The accident occurred at approximately 10:29 pm, in the Mitchell Estates development, in the 300 block of Mitchell Drive in Wilmington.

The incident, which involved a single vehicle, resulted in one individual being trapped within the wreckage and another being ejected from the vehicle.

initial reports from the scene indicate that the vehicle may have struck multiple utility poles enrolled multiple times, bringing down wires along McKennans Church Road near McKean High School.

Crews worked too to extricate the trapped individual. By 10:43, rescue crews successfully freed the individual from the vehicle.

Both individuals involved in the crash were transported to the trauma center with injuries that not believed to be life-threatening.
