Police Release Photos In Dover Bank Robbery

The Dover Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery at PNC Bank on July 9, 2024. The suspect is depicted in images obtained from the bank’s surveillance video, including an enhanced view of a distinctive hand tattoo that may aid in identification.

The robbery occurred at approximately 11:14 a.m. at the PNC Bank located at 3 Loockerman Plaza in Dover. Officials said the suspect entered the bank, wrote a message demanding money on a deposit slip, and handed it to a teller. The teller complied, and the suspect fled the scene on foot in a westbound direction with an undisclosed amount of cash, taking the note with him.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned male, approximately 5’10” tall, wearing a white shirt, dark shorts, a dark hat, and a cloth surgical mask.
