Authorities are investigating an early morning motorcycle crash on Route 13 in New Castle.
Just before 2:00 a.m. Friday, rescue crews were dispatched to Route 13 near the Penn Mart Shopping Center in New Castle following reports of a motorcycle accident. Upon arrival, responders located a motorcyclist down in the roadway. The individual was reportedly alert as paramedics conducted an initial assessment on-site.
First responders provided immediate medical care to stabilize the motorcyclist’s condition before arranging transport to a nearby trauma center. Details of the motorcyclist’s injuries have not been disclosed, and there has been no update on their current status.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
