In the early morning of Thursday, November 14, 2024, New Castle County Police officers responded to several reports of thefts along the Route 9 corridor.
Affected areas included Rogers Manor, Collins Park, and neighborhoods within New Castle City Police Department jurisdiction, such as Boothhurst and Van Dyke Village, as well as the neighborhood of Rutledge off Route 71 and the Glasgow Court Trailer Park in Newark.
Stolen items included motor vehicles, weapons, credit cards, and personal belongings.
Detectives from both agencies are collaborating to identify two suspects connected to these incidents.
