On Monday evening, just before 9:30, emergency crews from Christiana Fire Company, New Castle County Paramedics, and New Castle County Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Beaver Court in Bear following reports of a stabbing.
According to initial reports, New Castle County Police officers were the first to arrive at the scene and began administering medical aid to the victim. Upon arrival, rescue personnel and paramedics took over patient care before transporting the individual to Christiana Hospital for further treatment.
Preliminary information indicates that the patient sustained a wound to an upper extremity. Authorities have not provided additional details regarding the nature of the incident or the current condition of the individual involved.
