Woman Injured In I-495 Rollover Thursday

At approximately 11:00 Thursday morning, emergency crews responded to a rollover crash on I-495 northbound just before the Philadelphia Pike off ramp.

Rescue crews, including units from the Brandywine Hundred and Claymont Fire Companies, along with New Castle County Paramedics and Delaware State Police, arrived at the scene to assist the driver, a woman who sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She was transported to Wilmington Hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

The incident resulted in delays, causing traffic to slow in the area as crews worked to clear the accident. By approximately 11:45 a.m., the northbound lanes of I-495 were fully reopened, restoring normal traffic flow.
