Second Shooting In Wilmington Today Leaves Teen Wounded

Wilmington, DE – Just before 6:20 p.m., emergency crews responded to the 1900 block of Seneca Road, near Canby Park, for reports of a shooting.

Initial reports from the scene indicate that a teenager was struck by gunfire and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. New Castle County Paramedics and area fire companies responded to the incident and provided emergency medical care before transport.

Authorities have not yet released details on the victim’s condition or any potential suspects. Additionally, it remains unclear whether this shooting is connected to an earlier incident on Lea Boulevard.
