MILLSBORO, Del. – The Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Thursday night in Sussex County.
At approximately 9:38 p.m. on April 3, 2025, troopers were dispatched to the 26000 block of Mount Joy Road in Millsboro following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, troopers secured the area and initiated an investigation.
According to preliminary findings, an unidentified suspect fired an undetermined number of rounds at a residence on the block. The gunfire struck a house, a shed, and three vehicles located on the property. Four individuals were inside the home at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported.
The Delaware State Police Criminal Investigations Unit is actively working to identify the suspect.
