NEW CASTLE — A Newark man died Friday evening following a motorcycle crash in the Sherwood Forest community, according to the New Castle County Division of Police.
At approximately 8:56 p.m. on July 26, 2025, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Stature Drive for reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a parked vehicle. Upon arrival, police found the patient unresponsive.
Emergency medical personnel, including New Castle County Paramedics and EMS, responded to the scene. Santiago was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead despite life-saving efforts.
The New Castle County Division of Police Traffic Services Unit responded to the scene and has taken over the investigation.
