Rider Airlifted Sunday After Crash In Felton

A motorcycle rider was airlifter Sunday afternoon after colliding with a vehicle.

The collision was reported at 2:01 p.m. at South Dupont Highway and Canterbury Road in Felton, Delaware. Initial reports from the scene indicated that the accident occurred at highway speeds.

Responders requested an air medical evacuation due to the severity of the crash. The rider was airlifted to Christiana Hospital via Delaware State Police Aviation. Information on the rider’s condition was not immediately available.
