Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Wednesday evening in the area of 6th and Pine Streets. Officials said the incident took place at approximately 5:07 p.m.
When officers arrived, they located two male gunshot victims. One victim was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the second was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. Authorities said investigators are working to confirm their identities.
