Rollover Crash Sends Two To Hospital Early Sunday, One By Air

Emergency crews responded to a late-night motor vehicle crash Saturday in the Felton area that left two people injured.

The incident was reported at approximately 11:57 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025, in the 1500 block of Turkey Point Road near Turtle Dove Lane and Peach Basket Road. First-arriving units reported a rollover crash with a vehicle on its roof. Fire and EMS units from Felton Fire Company were assisted by mutual aid companies from Magnolia Fire Company and Frederica Fire Company. Advanced life support was provided by Kent County Paramedics.

Upon arrival, crews located one adult male who had reportedly been ejected from the vehicle during the rollover. The patient was initially unresponsive. Due to the severity of his injuries, a medical helicopter from Delaware State Police Aviation, Trooper 2, was requested to the scene for rapid transport. The male patient was flown to a trauma center at Christiana Hospital in critical condition.

A second patient, an adult female, was transported by ground ambulance to Bayhealth Hospital for treatment of her injuries. Her condition was not immediately available.

No additional details regarding the cause of the crash or the identities of those involved have been released.
