The Lewes Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the early morning hours of Friday, November 28, 2025.
Officials said at approximately 1:08 a.m., Lewes Police Officers were notified of multiple gunshots fired at Jefferson Apartments located at 825 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE. When the officers arrived, they learned that an unknown suspect fired numerous shots at a single apartment building and a juvenile located inside the apartment sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
