The Dover Police Department is investigating a residential burglary reported Wednesday morning.
According to officials, officers were dispatched at approximately 9:49 a.m. to a residence in the 400 block of East Loockerman Street after receiving a burglary complaint. The subsequent investigation determined that sometime between 9:29 a.m. and 9:49 a.m., an unknown black male forcibly entered the home while it was occupied by two juveniles.
Police said the suspect rummaged through the residence and removed property belonging to the victim. The individual fled the home after being confronted by one of the juveniles. The incident remains under investigation, and no additional information was released.
