22-Year-Old Woman In Serious Condition After Late Night Accident

Wilmington – At approximately 11:20 p.m. Monday night, New Castle County Paramedics, along with Mill Creek, Cranston Heights and Belvedere Fire Companies were dispatched to the intersection of Milltown Road and Limestone Road for a motor vehicle crash, according to Paramedic First Class Yvonne Russell.

Russell said upon New Castle County Paramedics arrival there was a two vehicle car crash. The patient, a 22-year-old female, was in care of emergency medical technicians from the Mill Creek Fire Company. The patient was suffering from injuries to her chest, according to Russell.

The patient was transported via Mill Creek Fire Company ambulance to Christiana Hospital with New Castle County Paramedics accompanied. The patient was in serious condition at the time of transport.

Delaware State Police are investigating the crash.
