Update – The bus involved in the accident was a DART bus not a school bus. Multiple patients believed to be transported.
New Castle – Rescue crews from around New Castle County have responded to the intersection of Route 273 and East Edinburg Drive for reports of a vehicle crash involving a bus and a car.
Arriving crews have popped the door on the car and are treating the occupants. Additional ambulance crews have been requested.
The bus is not believed to be a school bus.
