Man Shot In The Butt In Wilmington On Sunday

On Sunday, 13 May 2018, at approximately 12:58 am, Wilmington Police were summoned to the 1300 block of Chestnut Street with regard to a ‘SHOT SPOTTER’ alert.

Upon the officers arrival they located a 40-year-old male exiting a residence and was suffering from a gunshot wound to his buttock.

The male victim was treated on scene by New Castle County paramedics, then he was transported to the St. Francis Hospital via ambulance where he is currently listed in stable condition.
