Bear – Rescue crews are responding to Route 1 NB in the area of Red lion Creek for reports of a serious motor vehicle accident.
Fire units to respond have reported that one person is trapped and has requested a helicopter.
Troopers with the Delaware State Police are reporting debris from the crash is also in the SB lanes. It’s not clear if those lanes have been closed as well.
Update: Command is reporting that the patient has been extricated from the vehicle. LifeNet is en route to the trauma center.
