Man Shot In Rehoboth Beach

Rehoboth Beach – Troopers are investigating a shooting that sent one victim to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Public Information Sergeant Richard D. Bratz.

Bratz said that around 2:10 p.m., on Saturday, October 15, 2016, Troop 7 in Lewes received a call from the Beebe Hospital in reference to a 19 year old victim that arrived with a gunshot wound to his lower extremity. The shooting incident was reported to have occurred on Wolfe Neck Road in Rehoboth Beach.

The victim contacted a relative who transported him to the hospital where he was treated and released for the non-life-threatening injury, Bratz said.

The investigation into this incident is on-going and no suspect information could be provided.
