Teen Injured After Slamming Into Tree In Newark

Newark – At 12:12 this afternoon, rescue crews from Aetna, Hose, Hook, and Ladder along with Delaware State Police responded to Route 4 in the area of Gender Road for a vehicle into a tree.

Upon his arrival, a Trooper found a vehicle that had left the roadway, crashing through the fence before slamming into a tree. Shortly after the Trooper’s arrival, Aetna’s crews made contact with the 17-year-old driver and determined that he has suffered only minor injuries.

The teen was transported to Christiana Hosptial with non-life-threatening injuries.
