Happening Now: Head-On Collision In Newark Sends Two To Trauma Center

Newark – Crews from Aetna Hose, Hook, and Ladder, along with crews from New Castle County Paramedics and Cranston Heights have responded to Polly Drummond Hill Road for a head-on collision with possible ejection.

Upon their arrival, crews are reporting that the one patient is seriously injured.

Update: Crews are now reporting that two patients are seriously injured.

Patient 1 was trapped and had to be extricated and is en route to the Trauma Center

Patient 2 has serious injuries and is also en route to the Trauma Center.

This accident will likely have the road shut down for some time.
